Benjamin Bottani is an American actor, born in Phoenix, Arizona, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is of Japanese and Greek heritage — his mother is from Japan, and his father is from Greece.
From the age of three, he liked to impersonate characters he saw in films.
By 2019, at eight years old, he began acting on stage with the Rainbow Company Youth Theatre, where he landed a lead role in The Witches, directed by Michelle Patricks.
He went on to study acting with Dan Hewitt Owens and, in 2020, signed with ENVY MODEL MANAGEMENT under Daniel Mahan. That same year, he made his first on-screen debut in an industrial film for UCLA titled Family Engagement and co-starred in The Chosen (Season 2, Episode 4).
In 2021, Benjamin starred in the Panda Express short film Traditions Shared, directed by Erica Eng. His commercial work continued in 2022 with appearances for Lexus (directed by Dante Ariola) and Pillsbury. He also guest-starred in Season 2 of Apple TV+’s Puppy Place and had a co-starring role in the feature film Bromates from Snoopadelic Films.
In 2023, Benjamin voiced Kabir in the Netflix animated film Leo, produced by Happy Madison Productions and directed by Robert Smigel, Robert Marianetti, and David Wachtenheim.
In 2024, he played the role of Mel in Sony Pictures’ Harold and the Purple Crayon, acting alongside Zachary Levi, Lil Rel Howery, Zooey Deschanel, and Jemaine Clement.
Outside of professional work, Benjamin enjoys creating short films with his younger brother, a passion he’s had since the age of eight. He also enjoys playing the piano.
